Summer Capital of the Philippines - Baguio City

To see your younger sister that is graduating is really such a proud moment to me and to my parents. As graduation gift, I treated her a trip to Baguio with our elder sister. It was their first time to ride an airplane so I guess they enjoyed it.

It was a crazy adventure for us because that was holiday season so expected that there are many people that will be travelling or going home to their province. Struggle was real when we look for a bus going to Baguio from Cubao bus terminal. Other buses were fully booked. It was late in the afternoon that we arrived in Cubao terminal and the operator told us the the bus going to Baguio will be available at 8:00 o'clock in the evening. We were shocked and tried to find other terminal that has earlier trip. Luckily, discussing other plan, someone approach us and offer to have a ride with a minimal cost. We immediately grabbed it and took the ride.

As I mostly travel alone, I should say that traveling with your siblings is really amazing and extra fun. Manila to Baguio is very long drive about 5-6 hours or sometimes it will reach to 7 hours. Good thing that I have my sisters with me so I did not get bored during the travel. Thank to them.

When we arrived in Baguio City, it was already 2:00 AM and its very cold. We still need to find a place to stay but luckily, someone offered again for a transient room for very affordable price. You don't need to worry in Baguio because most of the houses there are their business as transient house. Since its quite late and we were tired from the travel, we decided to take a rest and will just have a long day tour for the following day.

When we woke up and finished our breakfast, we decided to just roam around the city by just walking. Pictures below makes our journey very memorable. Even though the season that we visited is not the season of strawberries, we still enjoyed the temperature and the captivating views in Baguio City.

You only live once so better travel with your siblings. You will get to enjoy and explore the beauty of the place with the people that you truly love. Share those happiness and moments to them is accomplishment.
